Job summary

Activ8 Recruitment & Solutions is recruiting an Entry Level Logistics Coordinator for a Delaware, Ohio area automotive manufacturing company. The role calls for 1–3 years of logistics and supply chain coordination experience in the automotive industry and is a full-time, direct-hire position.

You will coordinate carriers, prepare export/import docs, pack for exports, verify shipments against records, and generate reports for management.

Qualifications

• Associates’ degree or equivalent experience required.
• Shipping, Receiving Freight Forwarder, Logistics experience is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).
• Advanced level of Microsoft Excel skill is required.
• Must be able to work independently when needed.
• Teamwork skills are a must.
• Must be flexible and able to work under a multicultural environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds and varied movements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate contact with carrier representatives to arrange shipping and delivery of materials.
• Prepare and file domestic and international export/import documentation.
• Responsible for packing for export shipments.
• Examine contents and verify accuracy against records.
• Provide necessary reports to management.
• Perform other duties as needed.
