Job summary

ProTrans International is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to handle transactional work with carriers and internal teams, acting as the primary contact for day-to-day activities. You will help identify and implement supply chain improvements to enhance the customer experience.

Responsibilities include carrier communications, border crossing coordination, expedites, issue resolution with plants, and timely reporting. Travel may be required to support customer sites within the network.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of logistics/supply chain experience or a relevant degree.
• Willing to travel nationally and internationally to customer locations.
• Experience with web-based BI tools and MS Office.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with TL carriers to confirm pickups and deliveries and perform check calls in the TMS.
• Coordinate border crossing operations and notify customers of customs deviations.
• Arrange expedite shipments and communicate with the Expedite team.
• Assist customer plants with daily operational issue resolution.
• Escalate service level issues to Operations Manager.
• Distribute daily/weekly/monthly reports as required.
• Work with Accounts Receivable to secure timely billing.
