Job summary

ProTrans International Holdings is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage transactional duties and work closely with carriers and internal teams to improve the customer experience. The role serves as the primary day-to-day contact for transactional activities and supports supply chain solutions development.

You will communicate with carriers, support border operations, arrange expedited shipments, and assist customer plants with daily operational issues.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of industry experience within logistics and supply chain or a bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation or business-related field.
• Automotive logistics experience preferred but not required.
• Willing to travel nationally and internationally within the ProTrans International network.
• Experience using web-based business intelligence tools and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with TL carriers to confirm pickups/deliveries, exceptions, and perform check calls in ProTrans’ TMS System.
• Facilitate border crossing operations with Border Crossing team and notify customers about customs deviations at the border.
• Arrange expedite shipment needs and communicate with ProTrans’ Expedite team.
• Assist customer plants with daily operational issue resolution.
• Escalate service level issues to Operations Manager.
• Distribute reporting daily, weekly, and monthly as required.
• Coordinate with Accounts Receivable to secure timely billing.
