Bio-Techne is hiring a Logistics Coordinator in Emeryville, CA. The role oversees planning, storage, control and distribution to meet company objectives and customer needs, including production control, inventory control, shipping, receiving and proper storage.

The position requires coordinating orders, shipments, and documents, with strong MS Office and Sage experience. Competitive benefits start on day one, including medical, dental, vision, and more.

Qualifications

• AA or BA in business and/or Life Science or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and experience with a QMS a plus.
• Previous experience in coordination/logistics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter purchase and sales orders into accounting program (Sage).
• Perform receiving functions when products arrive, verify product description, quantity, temperature and damage.
• Record receipt of product and store it per product insert.
• Prepare and apply all labels.
• Prepare shipping documents daily based on Sales Orders, including C of A's, data sheets, and invoice edits.
• Prepare all customer specific shipping documents and maintain shipping materials inventory.
• Communicate with customers, freight forwarders, and government agencies to facilitate export/import.
