Job summary

SURESTAFF is immediately hiring a Logistics Coordinator for a large client in Carol Stream, IL. You will manage daily shipping and freight operations, handle domestic transport, and work with our ERP to keep shipments moving in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 2+ years in logistics, familiarity with LTL/FTL/3PL, and strong client-service skills. Competitive hourly pay and health benefits are offered in a temp-to-hire arrangement.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years in manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution logistics.
• Experience setting up LTL, truckload, and third-party freight.
• Background in B2B or retail customer service and problem resolution.
• Hands-on experience with ERP software and carrier web portals.
• Ability to multi-task accurately under tight daily deadlines.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Freight Booking: Schedule and quote LTL, FTL, and 3PL shipments.
• Customer Support: Act as the main contact for client shipping updates and tracking.
• Data Entry: Log orders, track metrics, and manage Bills of Lading in the ERP.
• Problem Solving: Resolve carrier delays, missed delivery windows, or freight damage.
• Paperwork: Maintain accurate shipping manifests and compliance documents.
