Job summary

Western Alliance Logistics is growing our Miami Operations team and offering a Development Program for aspiring Logistics Coordinators. You will receive structured training, hands-on coaching, and increasing responsibility as you learn how freight moves across the U.S.

and Canada. In this role, you will coordinate shipments, communicate with carriers and customers, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced 3PL environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Customer service, operations, or other fast-paced experience is an asset.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Able to stay calm and solve problems quickly under pressure.
• Coachable, adaptable, and eager to learn.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• English required; Spanish or French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipments from pickup through delivery across the U.S. and Canada.
• Source and communicate with transportation carriers.
• Track freight and proactively communicate shipment updates.
• Build orders and maintain accurate shipment information.
• Identify and resolve delays, service issues, and transportation challenges.
• Communicate with customers, carriers, and internal sales teams.
• Manage multiple priorities while meeting daily performance and service expectations.

Western Alliance Logistics is growing our Miami Operations team and looking for motivated people who want to build a career in transportation and logistics. No prior industry experience is required, everything is taught from the ground up through structured training, hands‑on coaching, and increasing responsibility.

Our Logistics Coordinator Development Program will teach you how freight moves across the U.S. and Canada, how to coordinate shipments, and how to manage customer accounts in a fast‑paced 3PL environment.

Strong performers can grow into roles with greater account responsibility, operational ownership, and long‑term opportunities at WAL.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate shipments from pickup through delivery across the U.S. and Canada
• Source and communicate with transportation carriers
• Track freight and proactively communicate shipment updates

What We're Looking For

Already have 2-3+ years of direct experience with a 3PL or freight brokerage? You may be better suited for our Experienced Logistics Coordinator position and are encouraged to apply directly to that role.
