Job summary

TA Services, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to oversee shipments, manage carrier relationships, and communicate with customers and drivers. The role emphasizes accuracy, timeliness, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required; equivalent experience in logistics, supply chain, or customer service will be considered.
• 1–2 years of experience in logistics coordination, transportation, or customer service preferred.
• Proficiency with logistics software such as McLeod, Mercury Gate, DAT, Truckstop and E2open.
• Strong computer skills including Excel, Teams, Outlook and Power BI for reporting.
• Familiarity with carrier networks and freight operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Shipments: oversee full lifecycle from pickup to delivery for on-time performance.
• Carrier Management: book and manage relationships, secure rates, maintain compliance docs.
• Communication: be main contact between customers, carriers, and drivers; provide updates.
• Documentation & Reporting: maintain PODs, BOLs, rate verifications; generate performance reports.
• Problem Resolution: identify and resolve delays, equipment issues and schedule changes.
• Collaborative team environment with account managers, carriers, and customers.
