Logistics Coordinator - Atlanta Area Only - Fully Remote

Job Summary

As a key member of the Operations team, the Logistics Coordinator provides excellent customer service and supports load growth by coordinating logistics operations.

Responsibilities

1. Load planning, driver scheduling, and dispatch for in-house drivers, owner-operators, and sub-haulers.
2. Coordinate routing for import and export bookings with ocean carriers.
3. Track shipments, resolve billing or shipping issues, and communicate with customers and vendors.
4. Build relationships with customers, carriers, and agents to enhance service quality.
5. Prepare and process international shipping documentation, including HAWBs, Bill of Ladings, Certificates of Origin, etc.
6. Act as liaison with Customs Brokers, Agents, and Ocean Terminal Operators.
7. Support and meet quarterly performance metrics.
8. Communicate service issues to relevant departments and utilize systems like Portpro/Shipos for issue resolution.
9. Perform other duties as assigned and adhere to company policies.

Qualifications & Skills

• Customer-service oriented, self-motivated, assertive, and responsive.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize effectively.
• Proficiency in MS Office and email communication.
• Knowledge of ocean container drayage and regulatory requirements (preferred).

Requirements

• Must be 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the U.S.
• 2-3 years relevant experience, preferably in dispatch or freight planning.
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

Physical & Schedule Details

Primarily sitting at a desk, working with dispatch equipment. Schedule: Monday to Friday, day shift, with weekends as needed.
