Job summary

Flex is a global manufacturing partner, seeking a Logistics Coordinator for a 1-year fixed term in Kendal, UK. You will support UK dispatch and occasionally import/export, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely deliveries.

You will manage shipments, prepare documents, and maintain records for customs compliance. Strong Excel skills and clear communication are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Some Logistics/Administration experience.
• Excel at Intermediate level.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• High speed and accuracy with attention to detail.
• Efficient at organising and maintaining electronic documentation.
• Ability to work well under pressure to tight deadlines.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Manage outbound and inbound deliveries.
• Ensure shipping documentation is accurate (invoices, docs, PODs).
• Liaise with Project Managers and Production for collections and deliveries.
• Arrange transport and logistics cost-effectively.
• Liaise with clients to meet delivery requirements.
• Negotiate best prices with suppliers.
• Raise Purchase Orders per company procedures.
• Maintain records for customs/HMRC audits.
• Follow up on proof of deliveries for revenue recognition.
• Prepare weekly/monthly logistics KPI reports.
• Cover export/import processes when required.
