Job summary

NT Engineering & Manufacturing in Perthshire is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support customer orders, book hauliers and warehouses, and ensure on-time delivery. You will learn the basics of logistics while performing day-to-day order processing, tracking and coordination with transport partners.

No extensive logistics experience is required; training is provided. The role offers a 37.5-hour week with a rotating 8–4 or 9–5 schedule and a transition to hybrid working after training.

Qualifications

• Organised, reliable and keen to learn.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office and learning new systems.
• Full training provided on their systems.

Responsibilities

• Processing and amending customer orders so they're ready for collection and delivery on time.
• Booking loads with hauliers, third party warehouses and customer depots.
• Tracking deliveries and sorting out any issues that come up.
• Building good working relationships with hauliers and 3PLs, including regular catch up calls.
• Handling haulage information, purchase orders and invoices.
• Keeping trackers up to date and helping monitor On Time In Full performance.
