Job summary

JBS Foods in Tupelo, MS is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage delivery appointments, coordinate with carriers, and track trips. This role blends strategic and tactical tasks in a fast-paced food manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with BluJay TMS is preferred.
• Familiarity with PC Miler transport times.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Set up delivery appointments.
• Send requests and information to carriers.
• Track progress of current trips.
• Research and support OS&D related data.
• Report on on-time deliveries and carrier performance.
• Process purchase orders for Tupelo (Warehouse, Office, Traffic).
• Verify packages received at front desk.
• Research trips and load related data.
• Coordinate with customers on appointment details.

Responsibilities:

• Setting up Delivery appointments
• Sending request & information to all Carriers
• Tracking the progress of current Trips
• Research & provide information to support all OS&D
• Reporting percentages for on Time deliveries & information related to Carrier on time.
• Process purchase orders requisitions for Tupelo (Warehouse, Office, Traffic)
• Verifies all packages received at front desk (UPS, Vendors)
• Misc. research trips and date related to trips or loads
• Research appointments to customers and information that supports customers.
