Southland Industries in Texas is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage delivery coordination and issue resolution across job sites. You will schedule transportation, coordinate equipment, and work with project teams to align logistics with project plans.

The role emphasizes strong communication, organization, and customer service, with daily or weekly status reporting and a focus on preventing delivery problems. Prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication.

Position Summary

• Coordinates deliveries to and from jobsite. Troubleshooting missing deliveries as needed.
• Schedules resources to facilitate deliveries, including transportation and equipment coordination.
• Collaborates with project leadership and corresponding departments to integrate logistics with established systems and processes.
• Communicates issues concerning transportation, logistics process, or customer issues. Works on preventive measures as needed.
• Provides status reports on a daily or weekly update, which may include visual display of deliveries against project need.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• Typically requires 1-2 years of related experience
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good customer service skills
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task

• Basic Microsoft Office: Word and Excel skills
