REMSA in Reno, NV is seeking a full-time Logistics/Warehouse Associate to support procurement and facilities within the Logistics- based Support Services Department. You will manage inventory through cycle counts, receiving, stocking, and processing POs, coordinating with Sr. Buyer.

The role includes maintaining the Operative IQ system, handling shipping/receiving, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring equipment and supply rooms are properly stocked. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year logistics/warehouse/inventory control experience required.
  • A valid driver’s license required.
  • A clean driving record required.
  • A forklift Certification is required.
  • Be able to follow complex directions.
  • Be a self-starter who works with little oversight.
  • Be able to set priorities and be adaptable to change.
  • Strong communication skills and team work.
  • Logistics experience with REMSA preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to reported issues using the department’s ticket system.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks and repair/replace equipment.
  • Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for repairs or maintenance.
  • Oversee PMs, repairs, and inspections of medical equipment.
  • Drive ambulances and other company vehicles safely.
  • Maintain Operative IQ inventory control and ordering system.
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities and schedules.
  • Ensure distribution and pickup of items to hospitals and offsite locations.
  • Keep hospital supply rooms stocked and organized.
  • Facilitate movement of crew and equipment between locations.
  • Handle shipping, receiving, and packing slips.
  • Coordinate with purchasing to stock inventory and equipment.
  • Count, clean, and maintain warehouse stock.
  • Arrange transportation and deliveries to meet demand.
  • Streamline shipping and transportation processes.
  • Redistribute Care Flight equipment to user agencies.
  • Deliver Tango boxes from bases to offices.
  • Prepare accurate management reports.
  • Keep logs of warehouse stock and orders.
  • Resolve critical issues via email, text, or phone while on-call.
  • Overtime may be required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job description

This is a full time position eligible for benefits.
Shift Opening:Tuesday - (every other) Friday, 6AM-6PM

The primary focus of this role is to provide support to procurement & facilities within the Logistics- based Support Services Department. This role provides inventory management support through cycle counts, receiving inventory, stocking, processing PO's and periodic purchasing in partnership with Sr. Buyer. Works with Procurement Analyst to manage the facilities ticket management system, assesses the level of support required and coordinates vendor support, as needed.

In addition to the above, this position is accountable for the following functions:

  • Respond promptly to reported issues using department’s ticket management systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairing or replacing faulty equipment, fixtures, and appliances.
  • Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or maintenance work.
  • Oversee and manage PMs, repairs, and inspections of all company medical equipment.
  • Drives and operates ambulances and other company vehicles safely, in accordance with established driving guidelines.
  • Maintain and update Operative IQ inventory control and ordering system as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory of supplies, and equipment maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure required distribution and pickup of miscellaneous items to and from area hospitals, user agencies, and other offsite locations.
  • Ensure hospital supply rooms are properly stocked and maintained.
  • Facilitate the movement of flight crew members and equipment between aircraft, bases, hospitals, and other locations as needed.
  • Shipping, receiving, and supply orders, as well as handling of packing slips.
  • Coordinate with the purchasing department to purchase inventory and equipment as needed for all departments.
  • Counting, cleaning, and maintaining warehouse and station inventory.
  • Facilitate the shipping/delivery of products from one destination to another.
  • Arrange transportation and orchestrate deliveries to meet customer demand with little to no delay.
  • Streamline shipping and transportation processes.
  • Retrieve, clean, log, and redistribute Care Flight user agency equipment back to user agencies.
  • Delivery and pickup of Tango boxes from bases and ground posts and deliver to administrative offices.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace, including company vehicle. Prepare accurate reports for upper management.
  • Keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders, etc.
  • Able to resolve critical issues through email, text, or phone while on-call as assigned.
  • Must be able to work overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications / Experience Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One (1) year logistics/warehouse/inventory control experience required.
  • A valid driver’s license required.
  • A clean driving record required.
  • A forklift Certification is required.
  • Safe and responsible driving skills in all weather conditions required.
  • Be able to follow complex directions.
  • A motivated, self-starter who works with little oversight.
  • Be able to set priorities and be adaptable to change.
  • Have strong communication skills and function in a team-based environment.
  • Must be able to operate simple computer programs.
  • A background with technical and troubleshooting experiences a plus.
  • Must have good customer service skills.
  • Logistics experience with REMSA preferred but not required.
  • A minimum of two years stable employment history strongly preferred.
