Logistics Coordinator - Overland Park, KS

LHH is partnering with a client within the Transportation Industry who is seeking a Logistics Coordinator . The ideal candidate would be responsible for overseeing the movement of freight from origin to destination by communicating with shippers and carriers daily.

Responsibilities :

• Negotiate with shippers and carriers.
• Organize and manage the transportation of goods.
• Streamline shipping and transportation processes.
• Develop and maintain a network of clients and carriers.
• Oversee the movement of goods from place to place.
• Arrange transportation solutions that are both efficient and cost-effective.
• Manage and resolve any shipping or transportation issues that may arise

Qualifications :

• Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator
• Experience in customer service will be appreciated.
• Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes.
• Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
