Job summary

Monsieur Touton Selection Ltd. is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in New York to manage inbound shipments and coordinate with freight forwarders and brokers. This full-time role reports to the VP of Operations and focuses on timely, accurate receiving across multiple warehouses.

Responsibilities

• Process domestic and international inbounds for timely receipt at warehouses.
• Monitor open inbound orders and communicate delays to Purchasing.
• Ensure receipt accuracy (PO, B/L, warehouse receipts) compliant with regulations.
• Review freight forwarder, customs broker and delivery bills.
• Resolve discrepancies with vendors and liaise with Accounting.
• Prepare daily/weekly status reports for Purchasing team.
• Assist with warehouse and outbound logistics issues.
• Handle various warehouse movements and inventory adjustments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Overview

Monsieur Touton Selection Ltd. is currently seeking an enthusiastic Logistics Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the Logistics Coordinator is responsible for handling all receiving processes, working directly with freight forwarders, custom brokers, warehouses and Touton Purchasing team to ensure timely and accurate inbounds.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree; minimum of 2 years of experience in handling logistics (coordination of imported freight), freight forwarder or wine importer a plus. Proficient in Microsoft office suite. Excellent communication skills and organizational skills. Strong analytical skills, and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills and interpersonal skills. Experience with MS Dynamics Nav preferred.

• Monitor status of open inbound orders, properly communicating delays and exceptions to Purchasing Dept
• Ensure receipt accuracy (PO, bill of lading, warehouse receipts, etc.) while complying with all regulations and requirements
• Review and process all freight forwarder, customs broker and delivery bills
• Resolve discrepancies with vendors and communicate with Accounting Dept
• Prepare daily and weekly status reports for in-house Purchasing team
• Assist with resolving warehouse and outbound logistics issues
• Process various warehouse movements and inventory adjustments
• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
