Job summary

Monsieur Touton Selection Ltd. is seeking an Accounts Receivable Associate to join our CS/AR team in NY.

You will focus on providing financial, administrative, and clerical services, processing and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by posting receipts. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in accounts receivable, familiarity with state liquor authority requirements, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency required.
• Bachelor's in Accounting, Business, or related fields preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts receivable or similar role.
• Knowledge of the State Liquor Authority and New Jersey Credit Compliance is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and collaboration.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
• Strong time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Process payments by online platform, telephone or email ACH payments.
• Release orders on order board for NY/NJ.
• Process cash handling and checking deposits.
• Prepare, post, verify, and record customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
• Draft correspondence for standard past-due accounts and collections.
• Identify and contact delinquent accounts to request payment.
• Create reports regarding the status of customer accounts as requested.
• Identify and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Report customers to state liquor authority for NY/NJ on delinquencies.
• Enforce NY/NJ state liquor authority when releasing orders to customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
