Job summary

Monsieur Touton Selection Ltd. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our New York team. The role focuses on processing orders, preparing correspondence, and handling customer inquiries to ensure satisfaction.

You will collaborate with sales reps, manage high-volume calls and emails, and coordinate with the warehouse to confirm ETAs and delivery issues. A high school diploma and 2+ years in customer service are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 year of experience in customer service or similar role.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, multi-tasking, and responding to high volume of phone calls and emails.
• Strong time management skills and finding the positive in situations.

Responsibilities

• Correspond daily with sales representatives (email, phone, and in-person)
• Manage high volume phone calls
• Filing
• Verify and address incoming emails in a timely manner
• Process incoming orders (calls, fax, email)
• Communicate with warehouse regarding ETA’s and any delivery issues to ensure smooth delivery to customers
• Confirm product availability on a need basis
• Verify pending order status and update sales reps, accordingly, taking initiative when necessary
• Meet deadlines in accordance with warehouse order submissions
• Interact with warehouse daily to ensure the transfer of orders is submitted correctly and efficiently
• Communicate with credit department regarding orders being held
• Address customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
• Recommend potential products or services to sales & management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs
• Troubleshooting common issues with a product or service
• Post all invoices and samples
• Run daily morning reports
• Process returns (Pick up)
• Perform other duties as assigned
