Job summary

Jimmy's Gourmet Bakery is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to ensure smooth movement of products between our facilities, third-party warehouses (3PL), and customers. You will work closely with Warehouse, Customer Service, Inventory Control, and Transportation teams to coordinate shipments and resolve logistics issues.

Responsibilities include entering outbound orders in Dynamics GP, monitoring in-transit inventory, confirming deliveries with BOLs, managing freight appointments,

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field, or 3-5 years logistics coordination experience.
• Experience coordinating transportation, freight, or warehouse logistics.
• Microsoft Dynamics GP experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with Transwide is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

• Monitor in-transit inventory and ensure timely product movement.
• Confirm deliveries using Bills of Lading (BOL) and communicate updates to Inventory Control and Order Processing.
• Investigate and resolve shipment discrepancies with 3PL providers.
• Manage freight appointments through the Transwide portal.
• Coordinate pickup and delivery schedules with carriers and warehouses.
• Review shipping documentation for accuracy.
• Track shipments and proactively resolve shipping issues.
• Maintain excellent communication with internal departments and external partners.
• Assist with additional logistics and transportation projects as needed.
