Job summary

Jimmy's Gourmet Bakery is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to ensure smooth movement of products between our facilities, 3PL providers, and customers. You will work with Warehouse, Customer Service, Inventory Control, and Transportation teams to coordinate shipments and resolve issues.

Responsibilities include data entry in Dynamics GP, tracking in-transit inventory, and coordinating freight with carriers.

Qualifications

Associate degree or 3–5 years logistics coordination experience.
Experience coordinating transportation, freight, or warehouse logistics.
Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics GP; Transwide experience a plus.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

Enter outbound purchase orders into Microsoft Dynamics GP for transfers to 3PL facilities.
Monitor in-transit inventory and ensure timely product movement.
Confirm deliveries using Bills of Lading (BOL) and communicate updates to Inventory Control and Order Processing.
Investigate and resolve shipment discrepancies with 3PL providers.
Manage freight appointments through the Transwide portal.
Coordinate pickup and delivery schedules with carriers and warehouses.
Review shipping documentation for accuracy.
Track shipments and proactively resolve shipping issues.
Maintain excellent communication with internal departments and external partners.
Assist with additional logistics and transportation projects as needed.

Jimmy's Gourmet Bakery is looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to help ensure the smooth movement of products between our facilities, third-party warehouses (3PL), and customers. In this role, you'll work closely with our Warehouse, Customer Service, Inventory Control, and Transportation teams to coordinate shipments, resolve logistics issues, and keep orders moving efficiently.
