Job summary

SPX Technologies’ Radiodetection division is seeking a Warehouse Associate in New Hampshire to coordinate all domestic outgoing shipments and maintain related records. You will prepare shipping documents and palletize orders in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include using UPS Worldship, scheduling with carriers, invoicing customers, and assisting with truck unloading. A minimum of 2 years in a warehouse is required along with a forklift license; OSHA safety rules apply, and training

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2+ years in a warehouse setting.
  • Forklift license; training provided by SPX as needed.
  • Mechanical aptitude with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • DOT CFR 49 and IATA training for Dangerous Goods/Hazmat recommended.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Follow safe work practices with a safety-first culture.
  • Package and prepare outgoing shipments, palletize as needed.
  • Use UPS Worldship to arrange pickups for outgoing shipments.
  • Coordinate with local carriers (FedEx, DHL) for outgoing shipments.

  • Inform manager of risks or changes.

As part of Detection and Measurement, Radiodetection is a global leader in the design and development of equipment and software used by utility companies to install, protect, and maintain underground infrastructure networks. Through precision and magnetic locators and ground penetrating radar, we help prevent damage to infrastructure utilities and protect lives.

Responsible for coordination of all domestic outgoing shipments, creating appropriate shipping documentation and maintaining associated records.

Duties:
  • Follow safe work practices and procedures and ensure a “safety first” culture in every task undertaken.
  • Package and prepare outgoing shipments, including palletizing if required.
  • Use UPS Worldship to prepare pick up for outgoing shipments
  • Schedule with other local carriers for outgoing shipments, ie FedEx, DHL
  • Invoice customers
  • Assist with unloading of delivery trucks, when necessary.
  • Maintain clean, tidy and safe workplace.
  • Abide by company and OHSA regulations/policies.
  • Advise manager on implementing changes.
  • Advises manager of risks or potential hazards as required.
  • Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to at all times to ensure the security and confidentiality of company information.
  • Co-operate with other staff, supervisors and managers
  • Perform any other duties as reasonably directed.
  • Minimum of 2 or more years’ experience in warehouse setting
  • Forklift License, training provided by Sealite as needed
  • Mechanical aptitude with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • DOT CFR 49 and IATA training for Dangerous Goods/Hazmat Recommended
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
