Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking a warehouse associate for the Electric Heat division, handling order fulfillment and material movement to support HVAC and related products. You will load/unload trucks, verify quantities, and ensure accurate labeling and inventory control in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires basic math, experience with packing slips and handheld scanners, and a commitment to safety while collaborating with teammates across shifts.

Qualifications

  • High school Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years related experience preferred.
  • Ability to perform basic math and verify quantities.

Responsibilities

  • Load/Unload trucks (move material as required)
  • Sort and segregate items by part number, lot number, and quantity
  • Unload and palletize containers. Label, reconcile, and put away.
  • Adhere labels
  • Pick/reconcile production material requirements, finished goods shipments and warehouse transfers.
  • Identify differences and inconsistencies in parts or operation
  • Check Orders
  • Seasonal Inventory
  • Make safety your main focus

SUMMARY:

Process Ups/FedEx, Check LTL orders, Load/Unload Trucks, puts away and picks orders from the pick modules using high level order pickers (34 feet high).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Load/Unload trucks (move material as required)
  • Sort and segregate items by part number, lot number, and quantity

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

  • Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
  • Ability to read packing slips to verify quantity, code, and carrier
  • Ability to operate handheld scanner
  • Ability to use wrap machine
  • Ability to work without guidance and always remain safe
  • Ability to multitask and remain consistent and safe
  • Work well with others

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1-2 years related experience
