Job summary

Hotwire Communications is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to ensure supplies, stock, and shipments move efficiently through warehouse and delivery systems in our Naples area operations.

You will maintain inventory controls, coordinate transportation, schedule staff, and monitor costs while supporting 24/7/365 coverage and a strong emphasis on safety and quality. This role requires adaptability and a proactive approach to logistics challenges.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
• Experience in logistics management is preferred.
• At least two years of warehouse work experience.
• Ability to work a 24/7/365 schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain computerized database tracking equipment status and distribution.
• Facilitate shipping of products between destinations.
• Arrange transportation, schedule staff, and coordinate deliveries to meet demand.
• Receive products and coordinate delivery.
• Prepare loads for shipment.
• Prevent quality control issues.
• Maintain optimal warehouse capacity.
• Oversee order fulfillment and transportation timelines.
• Monitor inventory of goods and vehicles.
• Review freight costs and transportation rates to reduce expenses.

Job description

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for making sure supplies, stock, materials, packages, and/or products are processed through the delivery and/or warehouse system efficiently and safely. The incumbent must maintain and develop inventory distribution controls in accordance with agreed business plans.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain and develop a computerized database tracking the current status, reconditioning and disbursement of equipment.
• Facilitate the shipping of products from one destination to another.
• Arrange transportation, schedule staff, and orchestrate deliveries to meet customer demand with little to no delay.
• Receive products and coordinate delivery.
• Prepare loads for shipment.
• Takes steps to avoid quality control issues.
• Makes sure warehouse capacity is kept at optimal levels.
• Manages activities throughout the order fulfillment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are met.
• Oversees inventory of goods and vehicles.
• Continually reviews freight costs, transportation rates, and/or the prices of raw materials to keep costs down where possible.
• Streamlines shipping and transportation processes.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree preferred but not required.
• Experience in logistics management preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) year's Warehouse work experience.
• Flexibility to work shifts in a 24/7/365 environment, including weekends, nights, and holidays based on business needs.
