Quicksilver Express Courier, Inc. is seeking a full-time Logistics Coordinator at the Colorado Office in Lakewood.

The role focuses on dispatching drivers, coordinating 50-100 expedited deliveries daily, and ensuring accurate order entry through phone, email, or web. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, knowledge of metro areas, and experience in freight dispatch with a focus on DOT regulations and driver logs using ELD software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong knowledge of the metro and surrounding areas.
• Transportation Dispatch experience in freight industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of applicable transportation regulations and laws.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Superior communication skills to relay information to drivers, customers and office staff.
• Ability to identify errors and implement corrective actions.
• Customer service experience with problem resolution.

Responsibilities

• Understand and use mapping programs and internal applications to assign work to drivers based on location, time frames, vehicle specs and workload.
• Coordinate 15-20+ drivers to complete 50-100+ expedited deliveries per day; plan routes and adjust as needed.
• Continuously analyze deliveries and drivers; provide alternatives when plans change.
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and Hours of Service, monitor driver logs with ELD software.
• Provide accurate and professional customer service.
• Enter incoming orders via phone, email, or web.
• Make outbound calls to customers with delivery updates.
• Resolve problems for customers and drivers; document issues thoroughly.
• Coach new drivers during onboarding and training.

Quicksilver Express Courier is an on-demand delivery company looking to hire a full time Logistics Coordinator. This is not a call center position.

Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Understand and use mapping programs and internal applications to accurately and efficiently assign work to drivers in multiple types of vehicles, based on location, delivery time frames, vehicle specifications & current workload
• Coordinate multiple (15-20+) drivers simultaneously to complete 50-100+ expedited deliveries per workday; planning pre-determined routes and accommodating route changes as needed
• Continually analyze drivers and deliveries as situations change; provide alternative options for when plan A is disrupted.
• Maintain compliance with all DOT regulations, Hours of Service Guidelines, including monitoring of Drivers Logs using ELD software.
• Provide accurate and professional customer service.
• Incoming order entry via phone, email, or web.
• Outbound calls to customers with delivery status.
• Provide problem resolution for customers and drivers.
• Accurate and complete documentation of any and all issues.
• Coach new drivers as part of their on-the-job training, providing additional instruction and guidance
