LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

Regular Full-Time Irving, TX, US

SUMMARY: The Logistics Coordinator willbe responsible forworking with customers and carriers ensuring proper transportation and delivery of products. This role is also the point of contact for any questions or concerns from customers, vendors, and consumers. The role requires attention to detail and being able to problem solve with different Departments on ensuring customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Transportation Coordination

Oversee the scheduling and arrangement of interbranch transfers and manufacturing the distribution of finished products to customers
Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to meet requirements and selectappropriate carrierswhen needed

Supply Chain Coordination

Proactively address disruptions in the supply chain to minimize delivery impacts.
Work closely with suppliers, manufacturers, warehouses, and other sites to ensure a seamless and efficient supply chain process

Compliance and Documentation

Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations related to food safety and transportation
Maintainaccurateand up-to-date records of shipments, inventory, and transactions

Quality Control:

Handle quality issues with carriers and warehouses as they arise to ensure standards aremaintainedthroughout thelogisticsprocess

Communication

Maintainopen lines of communication with customers, warehouses, and carriers to ensuretimelyandaccuratedeliveries
Communicate any delays or issues to customers, warehouses, and relevant departments
Act as a liaison between warehouse, customers, sales, and customer service teams

Problem Solving

Identifyand resolve high-priority customer issues related to transportation delays, inventory discrepancies, and supplier performance by coordinating with the warehouse, sales, and carriers. Develop and implement contingency plans to mitigate the impact of unforeseen

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION:

Bachelor's Degree and/or six (6) years of transportation industry experience
Experience working within food manufacturing, transportation,warehouse, or customer service industries required
Proficient in Excel, complaint platforms, Microsoft Suite, and carrier tracking systems.
Bi-lingual preferred (Spanish)
Willingness to work on call and weekends when necessary
Demonstrated experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, particularly in D365
Experience in a customer facing role preferred
