Job summary

Cacique Foods LLC is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Irving, TX to manage transportation and distribution, coordinating with customers and carriers to ensure timely deliveries.

You’ll partner with sales, customer service, and suppliers to minimize disruptions, maintain compliance, and document shipments and inventory. A strong aptitude for problem solving and bilingual communication is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and/or six (6) years of transportation industry experience.
• Experience in food manufacturing, transportation, warehousing, or customer service preferred.
• Proficient in Excel, complaint platforms, Microsoft Suite, and carrier tracking systems.
• Bi-lingual preferred (Spanish).
• Willingness to work on call and weekends when necessary.
• ERP systems experience, particularly D365.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling and arrangement of interbranch transfers and distribution to customers.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service to meet requirements and select carriers.
• Address supply chain disruptions and work with suppliers, manufacturers, warehouses, and sites.

• Maintain open communication with customers, warehouses, carriers and departments.
• Identify and resolve high-priority issues and develop contingency plans.

This role is also the point of contact for any questions or concerns from customers, vendors, and consumers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Transportation Coordination

• Oversee the scheduling and arrangement of interbranch transfers and manufacturing the distribution of finished products to customers
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to meet requirements and selectappropriate carrierswhen needed

Supply Chain Coordination

• Proactively address disruptions in the supply chain to minimize delivery impacts.
• Work closely with suppliers, manufacturers, warehouses, and other sites to ensure a seamless and efficient supply chain process

Compliance and Documentation

• Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations related to food safety and transportation
• Maintainaccurateand up-to-date records of shipments, inventory, and transactions

Quality Control:

• Handle quality issues with carriers and warehouses as they arise to ensure standards aremaintainedthroughout thelogisticsprocess

Communication

• Maintainopen lines of communication with customers, warehouses, and carriers to ensuretimelyandaccuratedeliveries

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's Degree and/or six (6) years of transportation industry experience
• Experience working within food manufacturing, transportation,warehouse, or customer service industries required
• Proficient in Excel, complaint platforms, Microsoft Suite, and carrier tracking systems.
• Bi-lingual preferred (Spanish)
• Willingness to work on call and weekends when necessary
• Demonstrated experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, particularly in D365
• Experience in a customer facing role preferred
