Responsibilities

• Accurately enter customer orders into internal systems.
• Monitor, track, and trace shipments to provide updates.
• Confirm pick-ups and deliveries with carrier partners.
• Monitor driver detention and notify appropriate parties.
• Update customer shipment portals with accurate information.
• Identify and elevate service issues to internal contacts.
• Provide customer service through phone and email communication.
• Support department goals and contribute to a team environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are a fast growing, woman-owned and operated, non-asset-based 3rd Party Logistics Provider headquartered in Cranberry Township, PA.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately enter customer orders into internal systems in a timely manner.
• Monitor, track, and trace shipments to proactively provide updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Confirm pick-ups and deliveries with carrier partners to ensure successful execution and identify potential issues early.
• Monitor driver detention and promptly notify appropriate parties to help customers mitigate charges.
• Update customer shipment portals with timely and accurate information.
• Identify and elevate service issues or risk of failure to appropriate internal contacts such as Account Managers.
• Provide world‑class customer service through phone and email communication with carriers and customers.
• Support department goals and contribute to a positive, team‑focused environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support Knichel’s operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

What We are Looking For

• Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience:
  • Entry‑level role; no prior experience required.
  • 1 year in logistics, customer service, or hospitality (preferred).
