Qualifications

• Customer-facing experience in a professional setting.
• Logistics/transportation experience preferred but not required.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer skills.
• Ability to quickly learn new software and systems.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving.
• Able to work independently with multiple priorities.
• Organized, detail-oriented in a fast-paced team.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer calls and emails with timely updates.
• Enter, build, and maintain customer orders in transport systems.
• Schedule shipments with shippers and receivers via portals, phone, and email.
• Plan, route, monitor, and track shipments to meet requirements.
• Maintain load, customer, shipper, and receiver data.
• Identify and resolve shipment issues before they impact customers.
• Coordinate with customers, warehouses, carriers, accounting, and ops teams.
• Monitor activity in load board systems.
• Assist with KPI reporting, transportation analysis, and cost-saving recommendations.
• Develop process docs and support continuous improvement.

This position offers the opportunity to join a collaborative Customer Operations team supporting large customer accounts while gaining hands‑on experience in freight management, transportation operations, and customer service. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage customer calls and emails while providing exceptional service and timely updates.
• Enter, build, and maintain customer orders within transportation management systems.
• Schedule appointments with shippers and receivers through online portals, phone, and email.
• Plan, route, monitor, and track shipments to meet customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate load, customer, shipper, and receiver information.
• Proactively identify and resolve shipment or service issues before they impact customers.
• Coordinate with customers, warehouses, carriers, accounting, and internal operations teams to ensure successful freight movement.
• Monitor and organize activity within load board systems.
• Assist with customer KPI reporting, transportation analysis, and cost‑saving recommendations.
• Develop process documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives for customer accounts.

Qualifications:

• Customer‑facing experience in a professional environment.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, freight brokerage, supply chain, or a related industry is preferred but not required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and general computer proficiency.
• Ability to quickly learn new software and multiple internal systems.
• Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Comfortable working independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
