Job summary

TQL in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our in-office team. You will undergo extensive training to become a logistics subject matter expert and then work with transportation partners to move freight, supporting our sales teams and growing the business.

You will negotiate rates, manage high-volume communications, and ensure shipments are executed on time using state-of-the-art systems.

Qualifications

• 1+ year customer service or sales experience.
• Hall of fame work ethic.
• Strong verbal communication skills - face-to-face and over the phone.
• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work full-time, in-office, in a fast-paced open environment.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate rates and secure capacity with transportation partners to move freight at favorable and competitive pricing.
• Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls to support daily shipment execution.
• Communicate with internal sales teams and transportations partners to build and maintain ongoing relationships.
• Manage daily shipment activities, resolving issues to ensure pickup and delivery is on time.
• Input and process accurate shipment data in our state-of-the-art systems.

As a Logistics Coordinator for TQL, you will receive extensive training to become a subject matter expert in the world of logistics and supply chain. After completing training, you will be responsible for working with our transportation partners to find and coordinate available assets to ship and move our customers’ freight. You will become the go-to-support to help our sales teams manage their accounts and directly grow the company.
