Job summary

Total Quality Logistics is hiring a Logistics Coordinator in Texas. You will train to become a logistics expert and coordinate assets with transportation partners to ship customer freight. You will support sales teams and help drive company growth.

Role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to work full-time in a fast-paced office. Weekend work may be required; bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate rates and secure capacity with transportation partners to move freight at favorable and competitive pricing.
• Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls to support daily shipment execution.
• Communicate with internal sales teams and transportations partners to build and maintain relationships.
• Manage daily shipment activities, resolving issues to ensure pickup and delivery on time.
• Input and process accurate shipment data in state-of-the-art systems.

About the role:

As a Logistics Coordinator for TQL, you will receive extensive training to become a subject matter expert in the world of logistics and supply chain. After completing training, you will be responsible for working with our transportation partners to find and coordinate available assets to ship and move our customers’ freight. You will become the go-to-support to help our sales teams manage their accounts and directly grow the company.

What you’ll be doing:
