Job summary

Princess Cruises and Holland America Line is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support our Alaska fleet the summer season from McKinley Transportation and Logistics. You will help prepare guest documents and data for reports, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to internal teams.

Qualifications

• High school completion or equivalent certification.
• Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a team environment.
• Clear written and verbal communication with customers, employees, and management.
• Proficiency with computer business applications and working knowledge of computerized reservation systems.
• One year of logistics-related experience preferred.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Minimum age 18 to reside in company housing, where available.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversees the preparation and compilation of all guest documents, including distributing detailed activity reports needed to analyze guest activity.
• Collaborates with fellow Logistics Coordinator to ensure consistency between guest documents and company reports by assisting with the preparation and organization of guest data.
• Communicates with other departments regarding detailed guest information and acts as a support liaison.
• Oversees the compiling of guest welcome materials and reviews them for accuracy in order to ensure an optimal guest experience.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school completion or equivalent certification.
• Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail, while working in a team or group environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly, verbally, and written, with customers, employees, and management.
• Proficiency in the use of computer business applications, with working knowledge of computerized reservation systems.
• One (1) year of experience in positions involving logistics work or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Minimum age of 18 years is required to reside in company housing, where available.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States. Holland America-Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-2B status).
