Job summary

Technica LLC seeks a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to support Fort Riley operations. The role entails clerical and physical tasks to process shipments and receipts, following established guidelines, and may involve directing other workers in handling goods.

Duties include verifying orders, packing, labeling, loading, and record-keeping. The position requires US citizenship, a high school diploma or equivalent, 18+ years old, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain CAC via NACI clearance.

Qualifications

• US Citizen
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 18 years of age
• Valid state driver's license
• Must be able to be cleared for a NACI clearance to obtain a CAC
• Ability to learn and operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including stand-up and sit-down forklifts
• Experience with GCSS-Army (desirable)
• Experience with supply management operation systems (desirable)
• Experience operating MHE (desirable)
• Experience resolving common error conditions (desirable)
• Experience responding to computer output instructions or error conditions (desirable)
• Strong customer service skills (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Verify orders and shipments by comparing items and quantities to documents
• Package, label, and load shipments into transportation vehicles
• Prepare and maintain records of goods shipped (e.g., manifests, bills of lading)
• Verify incoming shipments against bills of lading, invoices, or similar records
• Identify damaged goods and route appropriately
• Maintain routing and records for goods received
