Responsibilities

• Performs clerical and physical tasks related to shipping goods and receiving incoming shipments.
• Follows established guidelines when completing routine, day-to-day tasks.
• Receives specific guidance from a supervisor when handling unusual or non-routine problems.
• May direct and coordinate the activities of workers who handle goods for shipment or receipt.
• Shipping duties include verifying orders, proper packaging, loading, and maintaining shipping records.
• Receiving duties include verifying incoming shipments, inspecting for damage, routing goods, and maintaining records.
