Job summary

Siemer Milling Company in Teutopolis, IL seeks an organized receptionist/logistics support. You will handle the reception area, inbound/outbound shipments, assist with PO emails, and coordinate with scheduling to ensure orders flow smoothly. Hours are Monday–Friday 8am–5pm with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED; associates degree preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle reception area including phone calls, greeting and directing visitors.
• Handle outbound and inbound small package shipments.
• Assist logistics with PO emails and processing incoming BOLs for accounting; coordinate with scheduling.
• Cross train in scheduling products and act as backup; on-call as needed.
• Process freight bills and month-end figures for Accounting.
• Review Teutopolis trailer inspection sheets for accuracy.
• Assist with packing paperwork and confirm accuracy.
• Assist Logistics Manager with projects as needed.

Job description

• Starting wage range is $19.00 - $23.00 per hour depending on experience.
• Overtime premiums paid over 40 hours worked in a week.

Hours:

Monday - Friday 8am-5pm, with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Handle reception area including phone calls, greeting and directing of visitors to the company.
• Handle outbound and inbound small package shipments.
• Assist logistics department in taking phone calls and processing incoming BOLs to go to accounting. Along with monitor, record, assist customers with orders that come in via purchase order email and/or various websites and coordinate/communicate these to scheduling personnel.
• Cross train in scheduling products and act as a backup for those individuals, including on call as needed.
• Process freight bills and month end figures to be provided to the Accounting department.
• Review Teutopolis trailer inspection sheets to ensure all are filled out correctly.
• Assist with Teutopolis packing paperwork, confirming accuracy and completeness.
• Assist Logistics Manager with projects as needed.
