Job summary

Goodwill Houston is seeking a Logistics Center General Manager to oversee a large-scale operation, including the wholesale outlet, dock, salvage, and donations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective performance 24/7.

You will lead a management team of 50–100+ associates, drive revenue, manage P&L, inventory, safety, and vendor coordination, while upholding GWH policies and advancing mission services funding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution setting is highly preferred.
• Experience managing 50+ associates and/or multiple shifts is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English to understand safety instructions and SOPs.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software; forklift certification possible.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of a large-scale logistics center to maximize profitability and efficiency.
• Lead a team of 50–100+ associates across multiple shifts in a 24/7 operation.
• Ensure safety, OSHA compliance, and training programs for staff.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound flows, salvage operations, and vendor interactions.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and timely reporting; manage P&L and budgets.
