Job summary

ARMADA Supply Chain Solutions seeks a Logistics Coordinator to arrange, track, and communicate status across outbound and inbound transportation using our TMS to optimize service, capacity, and mode. You will tender shipments, monitor on-time performance, and escalate issues with carriers and internal teams.

Responsibilities include managing MercuryGate notifications, handling weekend rotations, and supporting process improvements and supplier relationships to reduce costs and improve service

Qualifications

• 1-5 years experience in customer service or transportation – operations experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Supply Chain or Logistics preferred
• Customer Service or Transportation experience with one or more of the following modes: LTL, Intermodal, temp controlled, and dry truckload transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assign and tender shipments to Armada’s preferred carriers using TMS to optimize service, capacity and cost.
• Monitor shipments to ensure on-time pickup and communicate issues.
• Load notes in TMS documenting issues and resolutions for future reference.
• Manage MercuryGate (TMS) notifications and email communications.
• Coordinate weekend shifts and rotate into alternative shifts as needed.
• Coordinate return disposition of refused/returned goods and manage supplier relationships.
