Qualifications

• Minimum 1–5 years experience in customer service or transportation—operations preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Supply Chain or Logistics preferred.
• Experience with LTL, Intermodal, temp controlled, and dry truckload transportation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assign and tender shipments to Armada’s preferred carriers using TMS to optimize service, capacity and cost.
• Monitor shipments to ensure on-time pickup using the TMS; follow up to secure service results.
• Coordinate first response activities to resolve pickup and in-transit issues.
• Load notes in TMS creating a timeline of issue resolution for future reference.
• Manage MercuryGate (TMS) notifications and related email communications.
• Work weekend shifts and rotate into alternate shifts as needed.
• Enter orders into the TMS when applicable and handle carrier rate reviews.
• Analyze shipping processes for improvements and manage supplier relationships.
