Talon Logistics in New Albany, IN is seeking a motivated Freight Broker to join our growing transportation team. You will serve as the main liaison between shippers and carriers, coordinating shipments, negotiating rates, and ensuring on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in brokerage, logistics, or related sales, strong communication and relationship-building skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Position Summary

The Freight Broker serves as the primary communication and negotiation link between customers and carrier partners. This role is responsible for sourcing carrier capacity, building customer relationships, coordinating shipments, and ensuring freight moves safely, efficiently, and on time.

Success in this role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
