Job summary

KNAPP in Green castle, PA, is seeking a Logistics Operations Engineer to provide software-focused operational support for automated warehouses. You will monitor KiSoft environments, triage incidents, and guide on-site teams to resolve issues while minimizing downtime.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, strong communication, and solid knowledge of Linux/Windows, Oracle and development concepts. Travel around 15% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, computer engineering or related field.
• Strong incident communication, documentation, and cross-team coordination skills.
• Technical knowledge in Linux, Windows 11, and Linux Server.
• Technical knowledge in Oracle databases, PL/SQL, Java and/or C++.
• General understanding of automated warehouse equipment concepts.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Basic understanding of software development concepts.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Monitor KiSoft ONE & KiSoft SRC software products to maintain stable warehouse operations.
• Respond to and triage software incidents; take action to restore service.
• Coordinate with on-site resources and support teams; escalate as needed.
• Communicate system status and incident updates to stakeholders; provide handover information.
• Maintain accurate support documentation and tickets, including recurring issues.
• Prepare and provide internal reports as required.
