Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years in industrial engineering or automation.
• 2+ years of project management experience in logistics.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and layout changes.
• Able to communicate projects and their impacts to customers.

Responsibilities

• Create the vision for innovations in the DHL supply chain.
• Attend demonstrations and trade shows to identify and vet automation technologies.
• Draft business cases and ROI analyses for capital investments.
• Create an innovation roadmap from pilots to full implementations.
• Plan, coordinate demonstrations and pilots and document results.
• Apply Industrial Engineering principles to identify and deploy warehouse automation solutions.
• Assess capability and performance impact of innovations.
• Establish vendor relationships and coordinate with teams across functions.
