Job summary

Ascendion in Sunnyvale, CA, is seeking a Logistics Associate III to manage PO-to-delivery across procurement, vendors, and logistics for the Robotics Program. 5+ years in global logistics or operations management are expected, with experience in hardware, robotics, or manufacturing logistics.

You will lead end-to-end PO management, coordinate across teams, monitor vendor performance, optimize processes, and provide regular status updates.

• Experience managing purchase orders and procurement workflows end-to-end.
• Experience in hardware, robotics, or manufacturing logistics environments.
• Experience with customs/import-export processes for hardware components.
• Strong reporting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End PO Management: Own and track purchase orders from creation through delivery, ensuring on-time performance and proactively escalating risks or delays.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison between Procurement, vendors, and Logistics Operations to ensure seamless handoffs and clear communication at every stage.
• Vendor Management: Monitor vendor performance against delivery commitments, flag issues early, and drive resolution to maintain material flow.
• Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in the PO-to-delivery pipeline and implement improvements that accelerate material movement and reduce cycle times.
• Strategic Project Leadership: Lead logistics-related projects that support Robotics organization priorities — including new supplier onboarding, warehouse/routing optimization, and scaling logistics for new programs.
• Reporting & Visibility: Maintain accurate tracking dashboards and provide regular status updates to stakeholders on PO health, delivery timelines, and project milestones.
• Risk Mitigation: Anticipate supply chain disruptions and develop contingency plans to protect delivery schedules.

About the Role:

Salary Range:

The salary for this position is between $112,489- $162,489 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
