Job summary

Carolina Components Group in Durham, NC is seeking an Inventory Clerk to support all phases of inventory, ensuring accurate stock records and timely flows between receiving, storage, and shipping.

You will log deliveries, maintain tidy shelves, record stock movements, and follow SOPs in a fast-paced environment, with a high school diploma and 1 year related experience as minimum.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collect all deliveries from loading bay, log, receipt in and distribute as required.
• Maintain stock on shelves in a tidy manner, executing stock rotation in date order.
• Record all stock movements and stock issues.
• Report delivery complaints, lost items, and damages.
• Track and resolve shipping, warehouse, carrier shipping errors.
• Assess proper weight ranges for certain shipments.
• Manage and prioritize multiple time-sensitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure accurate data entry.
• Operate all Inventory Control systems to facilitate stock processing duties.
• Follow department SOPs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Summary

Support all phases of inventory, coordinating the efficient and controlled flow of materials to and from delivering carriers, warehouse storage, and short-term working stock. Maintain inventory records to ensure accurate records of stock on hand and adequate stock levels in accordance with established guidelines.

Desired Education
