Job summary

Remedy Intelligent Staffing in Des Moines is seeking a Logistics and Shipping Clerk to manage orders, inventory and provide excellent service to drivers and vendors in a warehouse environment.

Starting pay is $19.75 per hour with hours 3:00pm–12:00am, Monday–Friday. Responsibilities include processing orders, coordinating with warehouse staff, verifying shipping/receiving reports and ensuring on-time deliveries while delivering strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
• 1+ year experience working in a shipping/receiving environment.
• Strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Processes customers’ orders; troubleshoots orders and resolves discrepancies as needed.
• Coordinate and update warehouse employees regarding new and modified customer orders.
• Review shipping and receiving reports to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries.
• Provides exceptional customer service to incoming callers, customers and carriers.
• Proactively communicates with customers, employees and the management team to ensure necessary requirements are met.
• Processes, audits and files various documentation.
• Assist other employees in the performance of their assigned duties when necessary.
