Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Logistics Analyst to coordinate drivers, trucks and routes to maximize capacity and productivity while ensuring prompt, courteous service. You will analyze routing data, respond to same-day changes, and drive improvements in route design and safety.

The role emphasizes strong communication, attention to detail, and proactive problem solving in a fast-paced environment. The position requires experience in dispatcher-like leadership and proficiency with MS Office;

Qualifications

• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.
• Skillful with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Ability to understand and execute time-sensitive tasks.
• Experience in a customer-facing position.
• Two years of prior experience working in a Dispatcher or similar leadership role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee drivers, trucks, and containers to optimize capacity and productivity.
• Analyze daily route information and implement changes for route efficiency and accuracy.
• Respond to same-day changes and plan for next-day needs to ensure on-time pickup and delivery.
• Ensure routes are closed on time and data is accurately recorded.
• Maintain proactive communication with drivers and address issues while en route.
• Evaluate missed pickups and develop strategies to reduce future occurrences.
