Job summary

Akima Mission Optimization (AMO) is seeking a Logistics Analyst to support NSWC Dahlgren Division with on-site PR creation and procurement support. The role emphasizes accurate, justified, and compliant purchase requests across multiple departments.

You will work with ERP/IBPES data, manage a high-volume PR backlog, and provide metrics for leadership. A DoD interim-secret clearance and related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (AA) in a related business field is required or 3+ years of progressively responsible administrative experience.
• Must be able to multitask and work independently with minimal oversight.
• Strong attention to detail and time management are essential.
• Experience using multiple online databases (ERP/IBPES) to diagnose issues and respond to requests.

Responsibilities

• Oversee data transitioning from IBPES into ERP to generate purchase requisitions.
• Research, evaluate, and manage rejected requisitions to meet deadlines.
• Lead and track communications with customers across departments and maintain logs.
• Support process improvement for PR creation workflow and monthly reconciliations.
