Job summary

Akima Mission Optimization (AMO) seeks a Logistics Analyst in Dahlgren, VA to support NSWC Dahlgren Division with professional and operational services. You will function as a PR Creator, submitting accurate, justified, and compliant purchase requests on time to support multiple departments.

On-site role requires DoD interim-secret clearance (or higher), an AA or 3+ years admin experience, strong data management and ERP/IBPES proficiency, and excellent MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Interim-Secret clearance (or higher).
• AA or 3+ years progressively responsible admin experience.
• Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal oversight.
• Proficiency across online databases (ERP/IBPES) to diagnose issues and respond timely.
• Detail-oriented, customer-focused, self-directed team member with strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee data transition from IBPES to ERP to generate purchase requisitions.
• Research, evaluate, and manage rejected requisitions to meet deadlines.
• Lead and track communications with customers across departments and minimize rejections.
• Facilitate process improvements to PR creation workflow.
• Assist P-Card and Approving Officials with documentation for monthly reconciliations.
• Ensure PR metrics, standards, and deadlines are met per program requirements.
• Interface with Departments, Comptrollers, SMEs, AO’s for guidance and decision support.
• Manage PR activities with Incremental, OFDs, Service and Material SAPs, de-obligations and realignments.
• Prioritize a high-volume backlog to support mission-critical operations.
• Provide accurate metrics for leadership on financial and operational reporting.
