Job summary

Akima Mission Optimization (AMO), supporting NSWC Dahlgren, seeks a Logistics Analyst to serve as a PR Creator on-site. You will manage data flow from IBPES to ERP to generate purchase requisitions supporting multiple departments.

The role requires examining rejected requisitions, coordinating across teams, and driving PR workflow improvements while aiding P-Card and AO reconciliation efforts. Strong Excel and Navy ERP knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• US Citizen able to obtain DoD Interim Secret.
• Associate degree in a related business field, OR three (3) plus years of progressively responsible administrative experience.
• Multitask and work independently with minimal oversight.
• Ability to diagnose issues across online databases (e.g., ERP/IBPES) and respond to customer requests.
• Detail-oriented, customer-focused, self-directed team member in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong sense of urgency and prioritization with excellent time management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Customer-focused with ability to provide professional guidance and support.

Responsibilities

• Oversee data transitioning from IBPES into the ERP system to generate purchase requisitions.
• Research, evaluate, and manage rejected requisitions to meet deadlines.
• Lead and track communications with customers across departments and maintain logs.
• Drive process improvement initiatives for PR creation workflow.
• Assist P-Card and Approving Officials with documentation for monthly reconciliations.
