Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs (or XLOOKUP).
  • Power BI experience is desirable for data visualization.

The Logistics Analyst I coordinates and expedites the flow of work and materials within and between departments to support the production schedule. This role reviews and distributes production, work, and shipment schedules, analyzes data related to inventory levels and costs, and compiles reports that help ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant logistics operations. Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within and between departments in alignment with the production schedule.
  • Review and distribute production schedules, work orders, and shipment schedules to ensure timely and accurate execution of logistics activities.
  • Examine documents, materials, and products and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to established standards and specifications.
  • Review production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and material requirements and establish material priorities.
  • Record and maintain accurate production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures.
  • Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands and minimize stockouts or delays.
  • Analyze costs related to manufacturing, labor, and materials to support data-driven decision-making and cost control.
  • Accurately document and record customer or client information in relevant systems and reports.
  • Apply knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to shipping and production to support compliant logistics operations.
  • Use Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and V/X lookups, to perform data analysis, generate reports, and support logistics planning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders using clear verbal and written communication to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Demonstrate accountability for assigned tasks, ensuring deadlines are met and work output meets quality standards.
  • Leverage data analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in logistics and production activities.

  • 0–2 years of related experience, including internships in transportation, freight forwarding, or customs brokerage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain is required.
  • Accountability in managing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Data analytics capability to interpret logistics and production data and generate actionable insights.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Internship experience in transportation, freight forwarding, or customs brokerage is accepted as relevant job experience and is considered beneficial.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel for advanced data manipulation and reporting, including pivot tables and V/X lookups.
  • Experience with Power BI for data visualization and business intelligence reporting is desired.
  • General familiarity with computer applications and office productivity tools to support daily administrative and analytical tasks.
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership over assigned responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail in previous roles or academic projects.
  • Interest in logistics, production planning, and supply chain management, with a willingness to learn and grow in the field.
Work Environment

This role is based in an office environment and is performed onsite five days per week. The position follows a standard first-shift schedule, with 8-hour workdays aligned to local time. You will work primarily with computer-based tools, including Microsoft Excel and other office applications, in a professional setting focused on data analysis, production planning, and logistics coordinatio

This is a Contract position based out of Morton, IL.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
