Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Logistics Analyst to coordinate drivers, trucks, and containers to maximize capacity and productivity while delivering prompt, courteous service. The role includes safety oversight, customer experience focus, and productivity improvements across routing operations.

You will analyze route data, respond to same-day changes, ensure on-time pickups and deliveries, and collaborate with Operations to optimize routes and disposal plans.

Qualifications

• Analytical and problem-solving abilities required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Proficient with MS Office or equivalent software.
• Able to manage time-sensitive tasks.
• Experience in customer-facing roles.
• Two years in a Dispatcher or similar leadership role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee drivers, trucks, and containers to maximize efficiency.
• Analyze daily routes and implement changes for efficiency and accuracy.
• Respond to same-day or next-day service needs and adjust routes.
• Ensure routes close on time and verify data accuracy.
• Monitor driver safety and asset security; provide direction.
• Collect and analyze logistics data to improve routing accuracy.
• Communicate with drivers to track progress and share information.
• Address missed pickups and schedule customers accordingly.
• Design routes for maximum capacity and profitability per driver.
• Monitor daily routing and address swing routes as needed.
• Discuss disposal plans with Operations Manager and update as needed.
• Improve customer experience by ensuring on-time pickups and deliveries.
