Job summary

Jobtailor in Melville, NY seeks an experienced customs professional to serve as a subject matter resource within a regulatory function, advising on complex issues and helping shape policies and procedures. The role requires a Customs Broker License and hands-on experience with Drawback, FTZs, and First Sales.

You will interact with CBP and brokers, implement audits, manage tariff programs such as Section 301 and Reciprocal Tariffs, and ensure BIS and OFAC compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience requirement.
• 7 years of related experience.
• Customs Broker License required.
• Experience with Drawback, Foreign Trade Zones and First Sales.
• Knowledge of BIS and OFAC regulations.
• Experience with Customs Operations (including ACH).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
