Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join a premier manufacturing client in Farmington, CT. The role focuses on coordinating domestic shipments, imports/exports, and ensuring accurate documentation to support both manufacturing and logistics operations.

You will work a Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a Hybrid work arrangement (3 days onsite, 2 remote). Compensation ranges from $26.00 to $29.00 per hour with weekly pay.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in import/export logistics or manufacturing (required).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (required).
• Detail-oriented and highly organized; able to work independently.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills.
• Experience in a logistics-related function (strongly preferred).
• SAP experience (preferred).
• High school degree required; associate degree preferred.
• Exposure to international logistics, including imports/exports documentation (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate all domestic machine deliveries and returns, including oversize loads.
• Act as liaison between company departments and customers; arrange deliveries and answer questions.
• Maintain accurate documentation for import, export, and domestic shipments.
• Support import/export compliance and provide HTS/Schedule B and Incoterms information for shipments.
• Communicate with domestic and international vendors to support deliveries.
• Review freight invoices and provide feedback to Accounts Payable on billing requirements and allocations.
• Provide shipping details and freight quotes to internal departments.

What’s a typical day as a Logistics Coordinator? You’ll be:

• Scheduling and coordinating all domestic machine deliveries and returns, including oversize/over-dimension loads
• Acting as a liaison between company departments and customers, arranging deliveries and answering questions as needed
• Maintaining accurate documentation for all import, export, and domestic shipments
• Supporting import/export compliance and documentation, including providing HTS/Schedule B and Incoterms information for shipments
• Communicating with outside vendors—both domestic and international to support deliveries to valued customers
• Reviewing freight invoices and providing feedback to Accounts Payable on billing requirements and allocations
• Providing shipping details and freight quotes to various internal departments

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have at least 2years of experience in import/export logisticsand/or a manufacturing environment (required)
• Are proficient with Microsoft Office (required)
• Are detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work independently

• Possess experience in a logistics-related function (strongly preferred)
• Have SAP experience (preferred)
• Hold a high school degree (required); associate degree preferred
• Have exposure to international logistics, including documentation for imports/exports (preferred)
